Lacebark Elm is a fine textured shade tree with dense spreading branches forming a round head. With a moderate to fast growth rate, this deciduous tree will provide summer shade in a hurry. The exfoliating bark provides a unique colored characteristic not found on other trees. Grows up to 40 feet tall, and about 30 feet wide, all over the state. The foliage on a Lacebark Elm stays much greener in our hot and dry Texas summers than a Cedar Elm.
