Natchez is a medium tree type Crape Myrtle with smooth, dark, cinnamon brown, exfoliating bark. Its glossy dark green leaves turn vibrant orange red in the fall. Its blossoms have panicles of pure white, soft textured, wrinkled flowers that bloom most of the summer. It makes an excellent specimen, or group planting. You will see these growing all-around Austin and neighboring cities. They will grow 15 to 30 feet tall and can bloom 120 days.
