Zuni is one of the few Crape Myrtle trees with true purple flowers. It produces an abundance of large, bright purple flower clusters and blooms over three months. In the fall, the foliage turns orange and red. The creamy gray bark peels nicely in winter. Zuni will grow 8 to 10 feet tall and 6 to 8 feet wide.
